Get up close and personal with a wide array of animals at Wildlife HQ Zoo at The Big Pineapple on the Sunshine Coast.
Wildlife HQ are home to native and exotic animals from around the world and opened after the closure of Alma Park Zoo with the transfer of over 200 animals. They are now providing lifetime care for the animals at the zoo whilst educating families and children about the environment and conservation.
Families can visit the zoo and have unique animal experiences together allowing you to really connect with the animals and fall in love with them. Some of the cute and cuddly native animals you can get to meet and hold or pet are: Dingos, Quokkas, Koalas, Sugar Gliders and Wombats, or the not so cuddly ones like snakes!
Or try encounters with some of our international guests: Asian animals like, Sun Bears, Red Pandas and Binturongs. African animals include Meerkats and Lemurs, and South American include Cotton Top or Emperor Tamarins, Boa Constrictors, Marmosets and Alligators!
Encounter prices start from $20 for snakes, $30 for native animals and $50 for our international guests.
There is also Zoo Keepers café, completing your special day at Wildlife HQ Zoo with a satisfying drink or refreshment at the new cafe.
Wildlife HQ’s mission at the zoo – to connect visitors with amazing wildlife and inspire and educate them on wildlife conservation. They’re located at The Big Pineapple at 76 Nambour Connection Road, Woombye.
