Spend a day discovering Australia’s interesting aviation history at the Queensland Air Museum; Australia’s only community-owned aviation museum!

The museum collects and preserves all aspects of aviation heritage with an emphasis on Australia and Queensland. It has the largest collection of historical aircraft in Queensland and it also has a large collection of aircraft engines, equipment, artefacts, photographs and books.

The museum’s aircraft collection is made up of a large variety of aircraft types that represent many aspects of aviation. See Fighters, Bombers, Airliners, Executive planes, Transport and Utility aircraft, Helicopters and more.

Open daily (closed Christmas Day) 10am to 4pm. Admission is $13 Adults $7 Children and $30 Family (2 adults and up to 3 children under the age of 16).  Each July the Queensland Air Museum hold an Open Cockpit Weekend (surcharges may apply).
