Resort Refurbishment – Important Guest Information
We’re excited to share that Monaco Caloundra will soon be undergoing a major refurbishment of our ground-level common areas, recreational facilities and gardens.
The refurbishment is scheduled to commence in mid to late September 2026 and will be undertaken in stages over an anticipated period of approximately 10 months.
How will this affect my stay?
During the refurbishment period, the following resort facilities will not be available for guest use:
- Swimming Pool
- Spa
- Sauna
- Games Room
As the refurbishment progresses, there may also be periods where access to some ground-level common areas and garden areas is restricted while landscaping and other improvement works are undertaken.
Construction activity and associated noise should be expected during daytime working hours. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to our guests wherever possible.
Christmas & New Year 2026/27
Construction works are expected to pause from approximately 22 December 2026 to 25 January 2027, with no tradespeople onsite during this period.
While there will be no construction activity during this time, please note that the Swimming Pool, Spa, Sauna and Games Room will remain unavailable throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
An Exciting Transformation for Monaco
While we appreciate that the refurbishment will bring some temporary inconvenience, we’re very excited about the transformation ahead.
The project will revitalise Monaco Caloundra’s ground-level areas, including upgraded recreational facilities, refreshed common areas and revitalised gardens and landscaping, creating a more contemporary, welcoming and enjoyable environment for our residents and guests.
We encourage guests to consider the above information when making their accommodation arrangements and thank you for your understanding and patience while these improvements are undertaken.
We look forward to welcoming you to Monaco Caloundra.
