With several beaches to explore, you are spoilt for choice in Caloundra!
Bulcock Beach
This is the closest beach to the Town Centre of Caloundra, and is a southern facing calm water beach that is a good choice for water based activities such as swimming, fishing, boating and when the conditions are right; windsurfing. Enjoy a BBQ, let the kids play at the playground or take a stroll on the boardwalk.
Golden Beach
East facing, Golden Beach typically offers calm waters and is ideal for swimming, windsurfing, boating, canoeing or perhaps a spot of fishing.
Kings Beach
Kings Beach is a popular surf beach, connected to Bulcock Beach by a scenic boardwalk that skirts around the headland. The beach is known for surfing, and also fishing, snorkelling and exploring the rock pools.
Shelly Beach
Shelly Beach is great for walking, exploring rock pools and enjoy picnics by the sea.
Moffat Beach
This beach offers a high headland with stunning scenery and sweeping views north to Point Cartwright. The beach is renowned amongst surfers for its point break.
Dicky Beach
Dicky Beach is popular for swimming, surfing and beach fishing, beach goers can also enjoy barbecues, picnic tables and a play area for the kids.
Please note that not all beaches are patrolled. Check with lifeguards and remember to always swim between the flags.
Water Activities
Spring in to action with a wide choice of water activities on offer. You can hire a kayak or standup paddleboard. Take a boat cruise, or learn to surf at one of Caloundra’s surf beaches.
