The combined Police and Emergency Services are competing with 52 sports scheduled over 8 days, at the Police and Emergency Services Games at Sunshine Coast Stadium in October.

The games feature police and law enforcement officers and emergency services personnel such as Fire Services, Ambulance, Royal Flying Doctor Service, State Emergency Services and Surf Life Saving, to name a few.

The Games Hub is centrally located at the Sunshine Coast Stadium, within the Kawana Sports Precinct. and competitive sports will include every sport from A to Z, such as AFL, Hockey, Shooting, Marathon running, Volleyball, Surfing and Lawn Bowls.

The Opening Ceremony will be held on the evening of Saturday 8 October 2016 at the Sunshine Coast Stadium, commencing at 6.00 pm. Plus a Closing Ceremony will take place 6.00 pm on Saturday 15 October.
