Deck the hulls and cruise around the waterways of the Sunshine Coast! The Mooloolaba Christmas Boat Parade, organised by the Mooloolaba Yacht Club, is happening this year on Saturday 12 December.

Enter your boat in this great competition, deck the hulls with colourful Christmas lights and decorations and take the course around the waterways of Mooloolaba. House owners also get into the spirit of the competition by decorating their homes on the canals.

The flotilla of yachts, power boats, outriggers, party boats and catamarans will be dressed up for Christmas, with animated Christmas scenes and costumed carollers. The boats work their way through the harbour, to The Spit and back through the main canal.

There are public viewing areas, such as La Balsa Park, Helen Penny Garden near the Mooloolaba Wharf, Charles Clarke Park and Outrigger Park, Maroochydore.

There are also prizes for Best Dressed Boat and Best Dressed Building. The Boat Parade gets underway at 6.30pm departing Mooloolaba Wharf.
