Caloundra’s protected waters on the Pumicestone Passage has two ideal kite surfing locations – Bulcock Beach and Golden Beach.

You can learn to kite surf with professional IKO (International Kiteboarding Organisation) accredited instructors in this beautiful, safe and fun environment with Kite Action Kite Boarding School.

They offer many different kiteboarding lessons and packages to suit everyone’s needs, skills and progression. The lessons are personally designed for you so you will learn all aspects of the sport, such as: pre flight check; kitesurfing theory (wind, weather, safety, etc); choosing suitable locations; equipment selection; and all the necessary skills and techniques.

Most students are up and riding in two to three two hour lessons. A two hour lesson costs $180 with equipment supplied by Cabrinha.
