Steve Irwin Day is an annual international event honouring the life and legacy of the one and only Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin at the zoo he founded, Australia Zoo.

The day will represent the many things Steve was passionate about: family, wildlife conservation and fun!

Steve Irwin Day is also a day where people around the world join together to raise money for Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors to help continue Steve’s conservation work and the preservation of wildlife and wild places.

There will be stacks of fun activities on Steve Irwin Day, all focused on celebrating and remembering the life of Steve Irwin. These include:

• Free BBQ Brekkie at 8am
• Country singer Adam Brand will be performing live from 11:30am
• Bindi feeds the crocs in the 12:00pm Wildlife Warriors show
• Embark on a mission to collect all five Wildlife Warrior badges as you learn how to become a Wildlife Warrior.
• Conservation Conversations will be held in the Australia Zoo Education Centre between 1:00pm – 2:00pm and 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
• Conquer the Australia Zoo rescue challenge obstacle course or climb the 8 metre rock wall.
• Pick your favourite for the annual Australia Zoo’s lorikeet race through the Crocoseum.
